I. What information we collect and how we use it

The personal information we need/may need to collect and use about you in connection with your use of our products and services includes both of the following.

1. In order to achieve the basic function of providing our products and services to you, you must authorize us to collect and use the necessary information. If you refuse to provide the corresponding information, you will not be able to use our products and services normally.

2. In order to achieve the additional functions of our products and services provided to you, you may choose to authorize the information we collect and use. If you refuse to provide it, you will not be able to use the relevant additional functions or achieve the functional effect we intend to achieve, but it will not affect your normal use of the basic functions of our products and services.

(a) We will provide you with various specific functional scenarios including

(1)Account registration, login and binding services

The country/region, cell phone number, email address, set password and other information you provided to us when you registered your account for our service, as well as the avatar information you uploaded in your personal settings and set nickname information after your successful registration. 2.1 We will show you the information you need to submit through our page, as it is displayed at that time, and you do not need to provide the information if you do not use certain services. This includes the names of the devices you choose to add, the names and categories of the rooms you set up, the scenes and automation features you set up, etc.

2.2 When you add a smart device, if you add a device by scanning the code, we need to get access to your photo album; if you add a device by Wi-Fi, we need to get permission to use your location; if you add a device by Bluetooth pairing, you need to allow us to use the Bluetooth function of your client and authorize us to get your location information in order to be able to scan for nearby Bluetooth signals. 2.3 We will send your phone the notification content you set based on the default alarm function of the alarm product and/or the "Perform Task - Send Notification" function you set, when triggered by the device and/or automation scenario, we need to get your phone's Notification permissions.

2.4 If you use the smart surveillance camera, use the screenshot function to take screenshots of the surveillance video and/or download function to download the surveillance playback video, we will get your cell phone storage permission to store your downloaded content; use the camera conversation function, we will get your Microphone permissions to use the microphone to collect voice information for remote conversation. Please know that even if you have agreed to enable the Microphone permissions, we will only use the microphone when you actively click the microphone icon in the client or record video.

(4) Intelligent scenes and automation

We support you to set certain rules so that the function of linking smart devices under certain conditions can be realized. In order to enjoy this function, we may collect your location information, your rule settings for smart scenes, your set rest time, and your specified device status to realize the function of executing devices according to your specified execution command. (For example, when the sensor detects someone passing by, the light turns on). Please be assured that this feature requires you to actively enable and set the rules.

(5) Smart device sharing

We support you to share your smart devices with others through your Siterwell Link account. After the sharing, the shared person can also control the smart device. In order to enjoy this feature, we may collect your account ID, the shared account ID you provided, the shared device information (device ID, device name, device verification key, device sharing status), which will be used to provide you with the function of sharing the device to other Siterwell Link account users to control and use together, as well as to display the sharing status on the device list page.

(6) Application and smart hardware upgrade

In order for you to continue to enjoy the latest Siterwell service, we may use your Siterwell Link app version information, phone model number to provide you with the Siterwell Link app upgrade service. Also, we may collect the list and version number of your connected smart devices for the purpose of providing you with upgrades to your smart devices to ensure that you have access to the latest version of the service (including firmware versions).

(7) Recommended intelligent products:

7.1 In order for you to better enjoy the convenience of smart devices, we may use the information of your bound smart devices to recommend other smart devices that can be intelligently linked with your bound devices. 7.2 To give you a better understanding of all Siterwell products, we may provide manuals for all of our products that you can read to learn more about the features on demand and/or interest, and we may provide a download feature where we will use your phone's Storage permissions to store the content you download.

In order to enable you to better enjoy the control and management of your smart devices provided by Siterwell Link, we may collect and use your personal information for the following additional features. If you do not provide this personal information, you can still use the basic services of Siterwell, but you may not be able to use these additional features for your convenience.
